Shanghai Creative Industry Centre(SCIC) was established with the approval of the Economic Commission of the Shanghai Municipal Government, and the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Social Organizations. Shanghai Creative Industry Centre is a specialized organization for promoting the development of Shanghai¡¯s creative industries. The Centre¡¯s mission is to coordinate resources, formulate development targets and strategies, strengthen guidance, create a platform, promote communications, and in general create a dynamic creative industry structure.

Shanghai Creative Industry Centre London office(SCICLO) was established in November 2004. The London Office is committed to the cooperative development of London and Shanghai's creative industries. The London Office will actively take part in all activities related to the creative industry, and to develop interaction between these vibrant cities. As the first representative overseas office for Shanghai Creative Industry Centre, the London Office will explore all possible cooperative opportunities with UK creative industries organizations in order to promote development of Shanghai Creative Industries to a new level.

As the first representative office for Shanghai Creative Industry Centre abroad, we will cope with the development need of the Shanghai Creative Industry Centre. We will explore the all the possible cooperative opportunities with UK creative industries organizations to promote the development of Shanghai Creative Industries to a new phase.
